Today I discovered that my solicitor could ring out from her office!!

Got a call this am at work to say that the information was sorted and when she received the appropriate papers she would contact all parties to see when mortgage monies could be arranged. She said that would be at least five working days and she hasnt had the papers yet. So, ladies it won't be next Friday 11th unless there is a new year miracle! It looks like it will be 18th January - pending no more hiccups. I said you dont have to contact us to ask us what date is OK - just say one and it will be OK with us.

?????????????????????? Could we be off at last??

Thanks for visiting my blog and for your nice comments.

Having read about your house moving saga, it makes me really glad I'm not planning a move any time in the foreseeable future. Good luck - I laughed when I saw the title of this post. You do wonder what you are paying them for sometimes!
Best wishes for the new year

You have really made me laugh-you are forgiven!! Thanks so much for adding the link to your blog, very sweet of you! Haven't made it to N.Yorkshire but did spend a lovely weekend in York itself for my birthday a couple of years ago-beautiful. North Yorkshire is the land of splendid campsites though, apparently, and we are keen campers, so maybe when we get some warmer weather...!The green on the walls is really lovely, and I am so pleased I was brave! It makes the room look cosy in the winter, and I think will be fine for summer too(not that we're going to be weird and start re-decorating each season or anything!) I shall give your suggestion some thought about putting some jewellery on the blog, is a good idea, thankyou!Keeping my singers crossed for you!anna x

The only hiccups you will have is from that virtual bottle of champagne I have had on melting ice for you for months! Some good news at last! x
