Still here - still packing...............................

Hi just a quick update - no news on the move at all - have to ring the agents dealing with the one we are buying in the morning they left a message saying they have an update. We are having a survey done ourselves for peace of mind. Packed lots on Sunday - didnt get rid of much. Joined Freecycle and have takers tonight for the exercise bike and the Ikea 5 ft bed frame. Thanks Mrs Nesbitt for having the link on your blog - I didnt realise we had a local group - I am sure there will be lots more going on the site before we leave. I have two lovely new blogging ladies on my sidebar for you to visit.

What did everyone think of the remake of a Room With a View then??

Hi Catherine, isn't this whole process such a slow one! Delays and delays, we know it well. We are still packing as well but we pick up the keys to our new home next Frday, can't wait! Enjoy your week! Jenn and Jacqui

Hi Catherine, just popped in to say thanks for your comments on my blog. I too was torn on Sunday night but watched Joe's Palace because I wanted to see inside the house - wasn't disappointed! Hoping Room with a View will be repeated sometime.

Didn't enjoy 'Room with a View' as much as the film version, although the acting was excellent. I always like Sophie Thompson but missed Maggie Smith and Judi Dench. The only character I thought was better than the film version was Laurence Fox's Cecil Vyse. I recorded 'Joe's Palace' because I love Stephen Poliakoff's films and was able to watch half of it before we had a power cut last night. Good luck with the packing.

Freecycle is wonderful! I use it all the time.
By the way...when you come to Gisborough Hall for your meeting, why not come a couple of hours early and we could meet for coffee.

Drop me an e-mail, link is on my profile page.
