Perfect evening with lovely company............

Ross's parents turned out to be lovely people and we had a lovely evening - they even put the lights off around us to give us the hint to leave. Perfect food and perfect company. Have probably decided on Clubch for the hall and stairs?? Who knows - might have to go home via Homebase for another couple of match pots?? Just to make sure??

Hi Catherine, I've got to say thankyou so much for your very honest message..I've never met anyone who has been in the same boat as us and I know we believe each other when we say "I know just how you feel!" I ummed and arred about putting that post on my blog and having read everyones replies I'm now glad I did. I dont feel like the worst mother in the world with the naughtiest teenager ever and I'm begining to no longer feel so judged by others. It's surprised me how many others shared their own similar stories.
The Y.O.T have been fantastic and have given us the help I've been asking for since he started school,he's much mellower now thanks to them, but I'm not holding my breath!
I just hope, as I'm sure you do, that one day that lightbulb will go off in his head and he'll realise what time hes wasted and who his real friends are (We too have got the 'mud sticks' syndrome for every incident within a 5 mile radius... I think I want to live on an island in the middle of nowhere!)
Thanks again and I really wish you well.
ps.Hope the house is coming along ok by the way..I love F&B paints and look forward to seeing more pics of your finished rooms!

Hi Catherine, thanks so much for the offer of info about where to go for stuff in our area. I really apreciate it. I could have done with you 7 months ago when we move here! I'm sure I'll be picking your brains very soon. And the local produce web site is great! Changing the subject, I have a dvd by Heather Richie on rag rugging, but I've never been to her workshop. I've made a couple of pieces of felt today so I'll try and post some pics, if they're any good, (daughter took them for me while I was wet and soapy!)Thanks for your kindness. love Fi x

Hi Catherine...do you mean Clunch?
No nothing yet....getting there but oh so slowly. If she does not do it on her own by Mon she will have to go into hospital to be induced - just like me!

I always feel anxious before these kind of events, but I always end up enjoying them. x
