Bunging on some pictures and not much text

As usual got the pics in the wrong place!!
I am not going to go on the internet this weekend as we are having a blitz on jobs and once I get on thats's it - hours disappear and so does the weekend. We hope to get upstairs and sand and paint our room. Some of the pics are the back room finished with the wall lights finally up and the front room fireplace with the offensive oak sides removed, painted and shortly (Sat am ) to have new glass uplighters added. Also the promised picture of the lovely bargain chair which is so comfortable I sat last night in the conservatory on it with Karen Black singing to me it was blissful.

So here goes - but I bet I sneak on to read blogs secretly!

Hi there - thanks for your comments re: my mannequin - yes, it was from a shop on the top road in Whitby, but I can't remember the name - they also sold jewellery and all bits like that. Love the eyelet curtains in your room by the way - Natalie x

Thanks for your lovely comment & I do think you should come & join in the fun! I couldn't find your email address but I've sent some B&B & hotel suggestions to Michele for you. We do have a hotel right here in Rangeworthy (Rangeworthy Court) & Tortworth Court which is a few miles away is gorgeous (they do wonderful afternoon teas!)

Hi Catherine

Your house is really beginning to take shape now, isn't it - and well done with the chair. A good price by the sound of it.

Re the magazines I think I'd bundle them up into say 6 at a time, so that the p&p wouldn't be quite so astronomic, and have a buy it now price which includes postage. I don't know what figure to suggest for them (I'm in the same position with some old gardening and Country Living magazines!) but because of the cost of posting I don't think you'll be able to charge much. If you haven't already done so check how other ebay sellers offer their magazines.

However ... why not try offering them here on your blog. Email me with the details if you decide to do that and I'll add a post on mine for you, or will link to your post on my website.

Hope that helps a wee bit!
