Hi to anyone who reads this!!!

A lovely family Christmas was had in our household, despite hubby and I being in a perpetual state of nose blowing and coughing since 21st December, which worsened on waking on Christmas morn...........

This is Benjamin who is now 5 months old and bundle of love

This is Eddie who is now 15 weeks and another bundle of love!!
Then Jackson who is now 3 years 4 months and a bundle of delightful energy !!!

Memories are being made every day in this very fortunate family, may 2017 be a good year for all.

Our new grandson has arrived

On 19th July ( two weeks early) this year we welcomed our new (4th ) grandson Benjamin George into our lives. He is beautiful and the spit of his Dad as a baby. All are doing well and our lovely daughter in law, Emily did so well after a long spell. Our other grandson is coming soon, he is due on 11th September and my daughter will be very pleased when he arrives as she is suffering in the unexpected late summer heat.

Happy futures

We are to be grandparents again this year. Our eldest son Adam and his wife Emily are having their first baby in July and my daughter Kate and her partner Kris are expecting their first baby in September.

What a year ahead, with my 60th birthday, husband's 70th and our Silver wedding!

I have just got a part time job back at the County Council. I find I am needing the stimulation of work and looking forward to getting back into the swing of local government in a few days.

My newest hobby of crocheting will have to take a back seat now after months of hooking some lovely blankets. I am now learning to knit but I have to say it isn't as nice as crocheting.............

Some of my blankets can be seen below, I am very pleased as I only learned to crochet in July 1
2015.

A long time away

Here is a picture of my beautiful grandson taken last month. I am now 'nanma' and Alan is 'tash' - obviously because he has one!! He is a delight and learning something new every day. At the moment he is loving Toy Story and Fireman Sam.
